St Louca’s Community is a non-profit, non–governmental organisation founded in 2008, with the vision of creating a warm and safe heaven where persons with disabilities can receive round the clock care; and where their family members and caregivers can receive the support they need to relieve them of the difficult circumstances they face in their everyday lives.
Why Community? Because we consider ourselves a family unit, who share the same vision and have the same mission, working together towards the fulfillment of our common goals with faith, mutual support and love. And as with every close-knit family, each member of St Louca’s Community is at the heart of everything we do, as we strive to ensure that people with disabilities reach their full potential, gain their equal place in society and enjoy the full range of basic human rights – human dignity, equal opportunities, independence, and freedom of choice.
